The new motor boat Pershing 108 was released in 2011. This new model features an aggressively refined profile, technical innovations and legendary sailing properties. Its deck is equipped with a dinette with a semicircular sofa, which all together can be transformed into a tented bimini. There is also another large sun bathing area on the deck where you can get ultimate privacy. Its incredibly wide sundeck features an innovative helm station, 2 wide loungers, a large C-shape soda and a table which can be put down and used as a sunbathing platform. There is also an ice-making machine and a galley dumbwaiter, which is utterly convenient and allows spending good time outside in the fresh air. The enormous cockpit is covered by the sundeck visor. This platform can be used for both day and evening activities, which is provided thanks to 2 sofas, a table for 10 persons, a wet bar and one more lounger. The main garage located aft can accommodate a 5-meter tender which is enclosed by a door that opens up into a slipway for launching the tender. There is a secondary garage in the coachroof with a lid that lifts and tilts to reveal two personal watercraft and a crane for launching. The Pershing 108’s interiors feature Canaletto walnut furniture and huge amounts of natural light, particularly in the salon with its formal dining table for 10, large sofa, and entertainment centre. In addition the interior is complete with a Poltrona Frau semicircular sofa. The partition between the living area and the saloon provides extra light. The middle part is occupied by a helm station. This ‘torpedo’ is equipped with the most top notch and innovative navigation system, and for the comfort of a captain and his skippers 3 comfortable and personally adjustable chairs are offered. The cabins in the lower deck include a VIP-cabin and 2 guest cabins with twin beds close to the bow, as well as a master cabin in the middle. A 5-cabin layout is also available. In this case a part of the master bedroom is redesigned to serve as a living zone. The crew’s quarters are aft with two separate access points, one outside and one inside. The crew cabins are adjacent to the galley and the crew mess room is in fact part of the galley, with access to the engine room close by. The sailing properties of the boat completely meet the Pershing style, at the same time being different in 1 aspect. This is the first time when the shipyard has decided to install 3 autonomous engines in order to ensure economy without compromising its speed properties. The standard option features 3 diesel MTU, 1815 kVT each, which allows reaching 42 knots. When only one main engine is used the yacht can cruise a substantial distance of 1070 miles at 11 knots.
