The Pershing 72 model continues the traditions of the ‘new geometry”. Its famous ‘carnivorous’ lines remained since of the aces Pershing has got in stock is the speed. Cutting edge innovations are here as well, and they are abundant. Pershing is famous for the fact most of the revolutionary ideas have been made reality exactly at this shipyard. And now Pershing 72 is ready to boast of its unique hard top design. One of its parts, above the saloon, traditionally slides back, whereas the one giving shade to the cockpit consists of 2 halves which slide on sides. By this the entire deck can be covered against the sun. However the most fantastic thing is the glass partition between the salon and the cockpit. In contrast to standard sliding doors it does not go on sides, it hides entirely in the floor! This new concept enabled to widen the ‘day’ rooms and create a lot of space for entertainment and socialising. Nevertheless this has not caused any circularity in its shape and lines, which is normally inherent in yachts with large internal space. Rather otherwise, compared to other models profiles Pershing 72 has become even more slender and its giant windows have emphasised the ‘fins’ on both sides of the yacht. Due to this design the upper deck has more than plenty natural light, which all together with the elegant furniture creates an incredible feeling of absolute freedom. What is unusual is very little furniture around, and a lot of space instead, which even looks weird for a boat like this, the one suitable for large companies of people. If you look inside you spot out a large dining area along the right port of the saloon. This big extension dining table can accommodate up to 9 persons. The sofa on the left from the steering station is supposed to seat 5 persons. And we shouldn’t forget about the stern cockpit. With its miraculous glass partition it can become a part of the entertainment area. The outside zone features another large table with a little ‘living room’. The sofa accommodates 6 persons, and there is a huge lounger for sun bathing. All together this makes this yacht somewhat special with all the seating arrangements and capacity. This yacht can be considered a perfect example of a multifunctional vessel. Being in a close circle of your company (6 persons + a skipper) you can set off for a long journey, and when you wish to throw a boat party you are free to invite more than a dozen of people. Officially the maximum is 16 people. Getting back to the cockpit layout you should mention a well stock bar along the left port, and one more thing called with a shy name Genius. This is a multifunctional ramp manufactured by Pershing in association with Besenzoni, a manufacture of the devices of such kind. Its cunning hydraulic system can act as a ramp and a staircase for swimming. When it is not used it is simply removed to the engine section, occupying very little room there. To define the size of the cockpit we will just say it features a garage under it…and the garage accommodates a 3.2 meter tender and a jet-ski See Doo. Moreover it is equipped with a very interesting and very simple lifting system. Its double bottom goes down to the garage to the desired level and then all the ‘toys’ slide down on the water and after use go back by the electrical wrench. The question remains – how to allocate extra room for a galley without compromising the space of either lower or upper decks? The low-level galley is especially nice, tucked down forward on the starboard side, alongside the helm position. It’s bigger and more spacious and hence more practical. The list of the kitchen’s equipment is truly impressive. There is a 4-stove cooker, a multifunctional oven, a dishwashing machine and a large refrigerator… however this is not the most interesting thing. There is a pantry of the kitchen size beneath the floor! The lower deck meets all privacy criteria. It features well-planned cabins, each with separate washrooms. The master bedroom is located right in the middle and has huge panoramic windows. This cabin is special thanks to the king-size bed with an adjustable bed-head. Moreover there is something like a boudoir along the left side and next to the window. You can recline on a day-bed and enjoy the sea views from through the window. The right side is complete with a desk which has a secret mirror and a mini-bar. All the clothes can be placed in the wardrobe. The issue how to place all clothes and other stuff is resolved perfectly well here. This boat has enough storage space, even the bathrooms are provided with special drawers for towels and bathrobes. The soundproof system of the master bedroom is also noteworthy. There is a bathroom and a crew section between the bedroom and the engine room. Note that the crew section is quite a spacious room which features a little living room, a kitchen and a washroom in addition to the double cabin. The bow part of the yacht features the VIP guest cabin with a large double bed and a couple of wardrobes. Another guest cabin is located along the left port. It is ideal for ‘individual’ guests and children. The room has twin beds and a fold-out ‘tray’. As an alternative a 2-cabin layout is offered for the lower deck. There is a small living room with an L-shape sofa instead of a third cabin. This has been done specifically for American customers, who in contrast to the Europeans prefer more space to more guests. We don’t have any arguments against a European version because you will definitely have a lot of those who will be willing to join you onboard. If you want a boat which no one else has or will have soon you should pay attention to Pershing 72. This is exactly what you need.
